For October 2024 we responded to 215 calls for service:
- 2 Fires/Explosions – 1 of which was an outside fire that extended to a house
- 144 Medical Aid (EMS) calls, resulting in 115 patient transports
- 7 Motor vehicle crashes, resulting in 2 patient transports
- 7 Hazardous conditions
- 9 Service calls
- 8 Good intent calls
- 38 False calls (this includes smoke detector activations for an unknown cause)
70% of our calls for service in October were for medical aid (EMS) and motor vehicle crashes.
We received mutual aid from a bordering town 3 times and responded mutual aid 7 times.
We had to recall off duty members 5 times, none of which were full department recalls.
